At our salon, we believe in balancing fun with professionalism. While we strive to create an enjoyable experience for our clients, we also recognize the serious nature of our business. We understand that the livelihoods of our staff and suppliers, as well as our commitment to excellence, depend on the success of our enterprise. That's why we dedicate ourselves to working tirelessly to provide exceptional quality and customer service.
In order to maintain our standards and ensure a seamless booking process, we want to share some important information with you.
As we are by appointment only, we are asking for your support to maintain sustainability of our business by helping us with below.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To ensure all of our clients can get a booking, we uphold a strict 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. This means that if you need to make any changes to your appointment, kindly do so outside of 48 hours prior to your scheduled time to avoid any fees.
Should you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 48 to 24 hours of the scheduled time, a 50% fee will be applicable. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 100% fee.
We kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment, so that we can offer it to another client.
To assist you with this, we will send you reminders 72 hours and 1 hour before your scheduled appointment time.

Arriving late
At times, unforeseen circumstances can disrupt your plans. However, it's important to keep in mind that our commitment to serving all of our clients promptly remains a priority. Therefore, if you happen to be running more than 10 minutes late, we may be unable to provide the full service originally booked. In such cases, we may need to make adjustments to your appointment, either by shortening the duration, rescheduling it, or, in some cases, canceling it. Please be aware that regardless of any alterations made, the full cost of the originally booked service will still be applicable.
Changes to booked service/s
As we operate on an appointment-only basis, we allocate specific time slots exclusively for each client. This policy ensures that we cannot accommodate other clients during your appointment time. Therefore, any last-minute changes that result in a reduction of the appointment duration will still require payment of the full fee for the originally booked service. This includes, but is not limited to, switching to a removal-only appointment, lowering the level of nail art, removing nail art altogether, or eliminating certain treatments originally included in the appointment.

Contraindications
At Mitty, we take the health and safety of our clients very seriously. We have a contraindications policy & can not provide services if you have a nail disease such as (no limited to) fungal infection, Planter warts and other diseases that are contagious and put our staff and client at risk of infection.
It is the client responsibility to cancel the appointment if you are aware of these conditions. If you arrive with a nail disease, we will not be able to provide services, and you may be charge full service cost.
Age Limit
For the safety and well-being of our clients, we have established a policy that prohibits the application of gel systems to individuals under the age of 15. Gel systems involve specific chemical formulations and curing processes that may not be suitable for developing nails. The decision to implement this policy is rooted in our commitment to prioritise the health and integrity of young clients' nails, ensuring that our services align with best practices and safety standards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in upholding this policy for the benefit of our clients' overall well-being.
This include manicure and pedicure with gel polish, builder gel or BIAB, and nail extensions.
We do however offer 83% plant based polish that are safe and suitable for under 15 years old. This can be added to any manicure or pedicure service.

We reserve the right to move your appointment by 15mins. You will receive an email notifications to inform you of the change.
